Regardless of your skill level, this race will restore your faith in Mother Nature and re-invigorate your workouts for the summer season ahead. The famous lilac gardens of Highland Park, also the backdrop for the event’s after-party, mark the beginning and end of the races. With the aroma of 1500 lilacs filling the air, runners start out heading east on Highland Avenue, move through the rolling hills of the park and then turn south through the residential town of Brighton before returning back through the park.

ENTRY FEE

April 20, 2019 is the last date to choose your shirt size. After this date, sizes are first come, first served while supplies last.

New this year- all 5K & 10K runners will receive a finisher medal!

2019 RESULTS

10K Awards

Total Prize Money for this year’s race is to be distributed as follows:

1st place: $1,000
2nd place: $500
3rd place: $275
Masters (M/F 40+): $125
Award for the top three runners in each age group (five-year intervals): 1st place age group winners receive a $25 gift card to L.L. Bean, 2nd and 3rd place winners receive a Trader Joe product!

The 10K Award Ceremony will be held at approximately 10:30 am at the Sahlen’s Center Stage

The Lilac Run is the USATF Niagara 10km Championship

The Lilac Run 10k is part of the 2019 USATF Niagara Runner of the Year Series.

5K Awards

$100 for the overall Male and Female Winner

5K awards will be given out at the conclusion of the 10K award ceremony. Any awards not picked up at the award ceremony will be taken to our office at 26 South Goodman St. and can be picked up there!
